JOB DETAILS:
US Based Trading Firm seeks a Senior Business Analyst for

the Shanghai office.





• Create and manage the Asian Product Management team.

• Ensure technology initiatives meet business requirements by engaging users, developing requirements, and working closely with engineering during the development lifecycle.

• Coordinate and cooperate with the US Product Management team to ensure a consistent methodology is used across the firm and plans are synchronized.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires:

• 5 years experience as Product Management/Business Analyst in a Software Development environment

• Strong knowledge and experience with financial services software. Specifically trading Applications for the Equities Markets.

• Experience in managing a team. Strong leadership qualities. Experienced in mentoring and developing a team

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• In-depth experience with requirements gathering, use cases and detailed functional requirements

• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate project requirements to both technical and non-technical users. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal communication skills

• Demonstrated ability and understanding of software development methodologies and the software development process

• Skilled at organizing complicated information into simple understandable terms

• Proactive, able to act without being told what to do; brings new idea to the organization.

• Flexible and adaptable. Able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions; copes effectively.

Prefers:

• Experience documenting and communicating requirements with UML

• Software development experience

• Trading knowledge or experience

• Mandarin fluency

• Experience in user interface design

• Experience writing technical specifications

• Experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions involving stakeholders with various backgrounds

• Excellent analysis skills

• Excellent presentation skills

• Experience writing test plans and test cases

• Experience in training (developing and delivering)

• Experience using Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, MS SharePoint, MS Project
